On the Thursday Grind

Thursday is such a crap day. In HS football Thursday was walk through day, so nothing really was going on except mentally focusing on the end of the week and dominating. In college Thursday was a the last day of classes for me because when I was a junior I stopped taking classes on Mondays and Fridays so I would go party. Now, it’s still like the last day of the week. I don’t count Friday because nothing really happens of Friday in the real world because people are just anticipating that 5 o’clock domination. So, here a bunch of stories and my short take.

#1 – Alvin Greene hasn’t even been elected and he’s one of the top 11 most corrupt political officials of 2010. Who is this self-righteous a-hole who’s hating on Alvin Greene? What is his problem? As Alvin Greene himself said, the state ha d program to rehab first time offenders and they failed to use it in his case. We want justice. The punishment should fit the crime.

#2 – The greatest campaign ad ever, which features me as a government official was posted on the front page of Hot Air this morning. I’m famous. I’m a great actor. I need to hire an agent and move out to L.A. STAT!

#3 – Obama was on The View. Who the hell cares? It’s being treated like he decided to end our relationship with Israel or something. HE WENT ON A STUPID TALK SHOW! IT DOESN’T MEAN ANYTHING BEYOND THAT. And Fox is trying to make a big deal about him missing the Boy Scout Jamboree to go on the show.  What a load. If you expected Pres. Obama to go to any Boy Scout event you’re an idiot. Yet another consequence of 24/7 media coverage. They’ve got to have shit to talk about.

#4 – Shirley Sherrod is suing Andrew Breitbart. This is what she should have done from the very beginning. It’s like defamation of character. Editing that video the way he did was straight character assassination. He will pay.

#5 – In other “Why is this story news” news, Chelsea Clinton is getting married and the media is campaign outside this thing like it’s the Woodstock of weddings. Why can’t we just let this chick get married and let it go? Our society is so awkward it hurts.
